Purple Prince is a purple tulip suitable for cut flower production. It is a cross between Christmas Marvel and Yokohama. Cut flower production starting from 1st of January till May. Needs a 16 weeks cold period. The forcing time is short.It is a short tulip. Purpel Prince has a nice presentation with closed flowers. Short vase life.
There are various mutants of Purple Prince:
- Sunny Prince
- Candy Prince
- Gold Prince
- White Prince
- Parrot Prince
The mutants do have similar properties as Purple Prince.
